Key Responsibilities:
To be accountable for delivery of specific IT Security solutions to achieve required business benefits and manage to budget, timescales and quality.
To perform analysis, feasibility and strategic fit of high level projects e.g. evolution plans, new network & technology propositions and complex distributed systems, for specific networks/technologies/systems, to deliver revenue or cost reduction targets.
Based on in-depth knowledge of specific technology/industry, play a key role in analysis to support the formulation of ICT Security strategy, evolution plans or identification of bespoke or customised off-the-shelf applications/solutions.
To provide analytical and innovative input to projects/operational support tasks as well as support negotiations.
To contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
To ensure operational procedures are in place, maintained and followed as appropriate.
To input to cost/timescale solutions/options and manage expectations as appropriate with customer or Business Unit/LoB teams and may have responsibility for setting up work packages.
May involve liaising with internal, external and third party suppliers.
To personally participate in and contribute to company wide professional community activities where applicable e.g. knowledge sharing, best practice within company and external industry.
To use the relevant company wide professional community framework to raise their skills and those of their team to the recommended PC standards.
Requirements:
At least 5+ years of Information IT Security related experience with expertise and skillset as follows:
Expertise in the following: (in terms of priority)
Information Security Framework Development
IT Security Policy and Standards development
IT Security architecture design and assessment
Information Security Compliance & Audit Enforcement
Technical security risk and vulnerability assessment
Information Security Training & Awareness Development
Experience in:
Building and operating information security program and directive for large organisations from the ground up.
Establishing and leading the Security Risk Steering Committee of corporations whose mission is to identify risks and mitigation strategies.
Developing the security framework for organizations, focusing on process, procedures and standards
Consultation on Security architecture design and optimization.
Involved (eg design/deployment/operations) with projects in IT security related controls/solutions eg Endpoint Protection, Network security (FW, IDS, Web/Mail Gateway), Security Incident & Event Management, Compliance checks, Data Loss Prevention, etc
Corporate systems in Windows and Unix environments.
Extensive IT Security experience in the Hospital and Healthcare Industry a bonus
