Summary:
Work under a Production Manager in a team environment to facilitate the software programming of custom automation machinery, the electrical design and programming of control systems for custom automation machinery

Duties and Responsibilities:
？ Develop automation software including PLC/PC, SCADA/MES/HMI/OEE, Robots, (SCARA and 6 axes)
？ Knowledge of machine networking/communications
？ Perform customer support and service duties for field technicians
？ Perform start-up and commissioning duties for production
？ Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
？ Assist with development of software testing procedures
？ Assist with development of standard operating procedures for the group
？ Interface and coordinate with other departments including mechanical engineering, production, customer service, quality, etc
？ Travel may be required
？ Other duties as may be assigned

Skills and Related Experience:
？ B.S, in Electrical Engineering preferred
？ 5-10 years experience with programming controls systems
？ Vision experience strongly preferred (Cognex or other)
？ Experience with all IEC 61131 programming standards (Rockwell Automation and Beckhoff platforms are preferred)
？ The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
？ Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal. Good English knowledge, both spoken and written
？ Experience with precision automation machinery is preferred
？ Proficiency with MS Office
