职位描述
Purpose & general responsibilities of the position:
The position holder will be a part of the CFS team where he/she will undertake all operational duties. The position holder will mainly work on-site warehouse to monitor warehouse performance and drive for warehouse continuous improvement to meet customer satisfaction. It is expected the position holder will also assist in small project tasks, either as a member of the project team or leader. Furthermore the position holder will be assigned different coordinator roles both on team and department level and thereby be a visible driving force to improve the performance. Furthermore it is expected that the position holder will work independently and with the ability to improve the operational efficiency. When necessary, the position holder will be provided with the training to complete the tasks.
Specific responsibilities of the position:
1.Operational excellence
?Do Gemba to warehouse daily and push warehouse for improvement on the same day
?Coordinate with warehouse to help CUS solve urgent issues upon request
?Continuously bring up suggestions/comments to warehouse for improvement upon daily observation and feedback from CUS
?Coordinate with warehouse/CUS for the proper arrangement of client visit by ensuring 1. Proper person from warehouse accompany the visit 2. Check warehouse tidy and neat and all cargoes in good status 3. Be familiar with client specific requirements so can help warehouse to answer some CFS related questions during visit
?Coordinate between warehouse/CUS to review new client IOP and ensure problems/potential issues discovered/raised up to CUS for clarification before client landing to avoid potential risk to Damco.
?Be on-site to monitor the 1st shipment of key client to ensure warehouse smoothly handle the 1st shipment according to IOP requirements./
?Further coordinate with warehouse/CUS to adjust the IOP based on actual operation if needed.
2.Cost Leadership
?Take active participation in the yearly CFS tender or contract review
?Monitor and control operational cost to keep at a minimum as well as drive tender process and other efficiency initiatives for operational costs.
?Reduce fixed cost
?Coordinate with pricing team and provide cost to pricing upon request within given deadline and help pricing/client to clarify the questions if any. Need to consult different warehouses on hand to find or negotiate a competitive price to increase Damco profit margin
?Maintain the cost file and update quarterly to pricing team
?Read PNL report for LSS others items on monthly basis and help CFS manager to dig out the reason for negative CM1 items and make action plan to avoid the case if it's not a branch manager approval case.
?Coordinate with CUS/warehouse to solve the charge dispute issues.
?Run BST pending items on bi-weekly basis to monitor CUS follow up the charge in time.
?Closely track status with RTP for the warehouse charge settlement within given deadline
3.Best Client Proposition and Operational Excellence
?Ensure effective use of suppliers KPI and regular review with suppliers to drive improvement in service level in order to build competitive edge for DAMCO towards our clients
?Quarterly review the True Voice result with warehouse and push warehouse for detailed action plan and further closely follow up to chase a result to meet client satisfaction
?Take care of internal customer needs by coordinating with Cheng Du BPI team for the monthly warehouse performance evaluation and push warehouse for detailed action plan and further closely follow up to chase a result to increase CUS satisfaction
?Continuous improvement of customer satisfaction
?Set up proper internal process to ensure efficient communication between DAMCO internal teams and external warehouse
4.Supplier Management
?Ensure our targets of zero accidents or regulatory violations are met through proactive awareness and guidelines
?Ensure that all supplier relationships are covered by valid contracts and backed by relevant insurance cover
?Ensure that all suppliers are following the GROUP Fundamental Business Principles
?Ensure all DAMCO used facilities are inspected regularly and at least yearly, and that it is validated that they in every respect meet DAMCO standards/requirements, and where this is not the case, ensure that prompt corrective action is taken
?Ensure that DAMCO remains fully CTPAT and security compliant in all facilities
?Coordinate with BPI team to improve warehouse process
?Establish strong mindset for 5S and promoting the same to warehouse.
5.Commercial
?To manage and develop external relationships with key commercial stakeholders including vendors, and destination clients and client managers
?Generate value to our shippers’ supply chain via the business solutions offered, thus generating high profitability levels for the organization.
?Tap on sales force from Client Managers and CUS to generate business jointly to achieve CFS Budget.
?Conduct and promote CFS product knowledge sessions with CUS.
?Continuously bring up suggestions/ideas on CFS products extention/cost reduction by observing/understanding warehouse operation (including non-damco clients)
6.Financial excellence
?Work with Finance and CUS to ensure accurate and quality financial figures (income and costs accruals) reported for Shanghai branch PNL.
?Monitor warehouse to upload charge within given deadline on daily basis and upload the charge through BST to CUS before deadline
?Ensure fully compliance with financial policies and timely involvement in financial issues.
?Ensure timely invoicing to clients and receivables outstanding within credit days agreed.
?Support CFS manager to deliver the CFS budget.
7.Productivity
?Work closely with BPI team to implement process improvements for warehouse.
