Job Purpose

The purpose of this role will be to develop new business opportunities as well as support the ongoing development of existing client business, in order to add value to our business and increase our competitive advantage in the growing and fast-paced China Energy market.

Key performance area

Exploration and development of new business opportunities within and outside the chosen markets
Identify potential customers within defined business sectors and develop relationships with these customers
Engage century account owners of Energy key accounts to generate leads and leverage support for bids and business wins
Develop a target account list aligned with sector strategy.
Lead the business development process for new opportunities. Qualify opportunities and obtain leadership sign-off to coordinate resources required for solution development and bid response. Take ownership of final customer bid submissions.
Prepare and present detailed tender responses and bid documents, focusing on customer requirements, supply chain interfaces and leveraging the CEVA brand and the competitive advantages of CEVA
Maintain close relationships with the operational management teams, account leaders, and local BD team in order to identify and develop business opportunities
Achieve new business growth targets.
Actively promote the company through industry events, marketing activities, and customer development opportunities etc
Develop and drive a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the organization


Requirement
Bachelor or above with solid customer background, logistics management and freight forwarding background in the Energy Industry. Chinese National.
Minimum 5-7 years work experience in the Energy, Freight or Shipping industry;
At least 3-5 years project Logistics and Supply Chain industry experience;
At least 3-5 years Sales and Business Development experience.
Fluency in Chinese language (written and spoken)
Good planning, analytical and problem-solving skills;
Ability to analyze requirements and formulate strategies;
Project and program management/direction skills;
Demonstrated success in challenging the status quo, championing new business development initiatives, management ideas, and value added sales ideas;
Ability to articulate issues, present “pros and cons” and provide solutions at the board level;
Maturity and tactfulness in dealing with high-powered stakeholders i.e. external customers;
Uncompromised integrity;
Strong sense of urgency and an unparallel hunter mentality in developing new sales activity;
