Role Summary/Purpose
Provide financial leadership and insightful analysis for GE Lighting Asia, a 230 MM USD business, with the goal of driving business growth across the region. Develop and implement key metrics to drive focus on growth and building operating structure and rigor around key processes (Blueprint, OP, Session C) and analytics at country/region level working closely with local and global finance and business teams.

Essential Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate Finance staff located across Asia with the leadership to build and manage an effective Finance Organization in Asia. - Recruit and hire high performing financial professionals as required. - Work collaboratively with the senior Asian and global finance leadership team to establish and implement strategic plans and deliver on all commitments. - Assist in implementing a growth vision for the business; work with business development staff to capitalize on opportunities in the marketplace. - Lead monthly and quarterly close processes, ensuring accurate reporting of financial metrics and results - Provide detailed, accurate and timely forecasts and present plans and alternatives to Management - Implement processes to track actual results against forecasts on a deal/asset basis, providing timely analysis of key business drivers. - Play a leadership role in developing strategic and financial plans and processes. - Advise acquisitions teams on the structure of transactions to ensure compliance and control while maximizing profitability and efficiency. - Organize and lead financial integration of new acquisitions. - Prepare and present business presentations to top level GE leaders. - Actively lead the implementation of Business and Corporate initiatives. - Continually foster increased understanding and usage of Lean, Six Sigma Quality tools and methodologies in all aspects of the professional environment including leveraging technology to increase productivity/ efficiency. - Communicate business goals and performance to Asian leadership team and all associates. - Identify and promulgate Best Practices within the finance organization, and share these across the global organization

Qualifications/Requirements
- 10+ years Finance experience- CPA or equivalent - MBA or equivalent - BA/BS or equivalent- MBB/BB certified- FMP and Corporate Audit Staff experience preferred- Understanding of a transactional business, investment analysis and valuation techniques - Excellent Financial reporting and business planning experience - Good Business acumen- Clear thinking / problem solving: successfully led cross-functional projects/process improvement within operations/finance function involving process improvement; able to quickly grasp new ideas - Experience managing a diverse, decentralized team of professionals, proven leadership capabilities- Demonstrated analytical strength and process mindset, ability to identify and resolve key issues quickly - Proven ability to work in a complex environment - Excellent interpersonal, communication & listening skills- Proven ability to work effectively under pressure & meet deadlines- Excellent level of English (written & Spoken)- Process focused- Strong interpersonal and team building skills, ability to work with a diverse team and influence both peers and subordinates - Strong understanding of and commitment to controllership principles - Experience in acquisitions
