Role Summary/Purpose

The IT Program Manager will be responsible for providing leadership and program execution in support of the PGS Asia sub-regions, CoE, and functions. This role will drive successful delivery of regional and global initiatives and enabling technologies to drive profitable growth for the Power Generation Services organization.

Essential Responsibilities

- Drive IT strategies and implementations that enable productivity, profitability, and growth for PGS business in Asia. - Drive successful regional implementation as well as post go-live continuous optimization of key global initiatives such as Outage 360, CSA Automation, Brayton, and Regional Metrics Dashboard by working and aligning with global PEIT team. - Partner and work closely with sub-regions, region CoE, functions, and Growth teams to identify optimization opportunities/benefits/feasibility, prioritize, initiate project/programs, and drive execution. - Drive regional system/process simplification and standardization with business team. - Manage GDC resources and work with PGS PEIT / P&W IT teams as well as Corporate IT teams to effectively deliver and support solutions. - Effectively communicate (i.e. status, issues, and escalations) to leadership and other various levels of the organization. - Coordinate program support activities, including development and delivery of internal / external communications, establishing roadmaps, benchmarks, and metrics. - Manage total cost of ownership (i.e. invoices, budgets, contracts) associated with program(s) - Initiate, coordinate and drive Asia/China GDC utilization. Drive cost down and better delivery quality by partnering with VMO and global project leaders. - Manage and adhere to security (e.g. Infrastructure, IP Protection), Controllership (i.e. Sox, Export Control) and Project Management Quality (dPMM). - Work across PGS business and IT team to develop the strategy for the next evolution of the team, position Asia IT resources to support and deliver solutions for the rest of the word, build organization capability.

Qualifications/Requirements

- BS/BA in Computer Science, and/or related technical experience- Strong business acumen and ability to take initiative/drive successes. A clear thinker.- Deep business / process analysis capability. Strong ability in driving changes.- Comprehensive knowledge / experience in enabling systems from ITO to OTR.- Experienced in working effectively with senior leaders.The position could also be based in Beijing.

- Strong customer focus and ability to manage expectations- Effective working in a complex matrix environment- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels- Green Belt or Black Belt Certified (GE Employees Only)- Past experience as IT Director / CIO is a plus.
