Handle SSK operational matters for designated clients or regions. Provide professional customer service.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure all bookings are implemented in a timely manner according to working procedure, settle daily operation issue in accordance with the policies and procedures of SSK and STC.
• Timely update of STC and SSK systems and necessary documentation.
• Ensure all freight, demurrage and other invoices are raised correctly and in a timely manner. Assist in verifying vendors invoices as/when required. Support the Operations Manager on compiling the forecast booking.
• Set up good relationship with both customers and vendors. Monitor and manage vendor’s service, make sure all vendors/agents' service meet SSK’s requirement. Must be very customer orientated with high problem solving capability to cope with everyday issues.
• Actively participate in data and information sharing with Commercial and Accounting team, suggesting when possible, solutions generating improved service, cost or quality result for SSK and its customers.
• Accompany on customer visits, if required.

Qualifications:
·Education

- College / University degree preferred or suitable industry experience.
·Experience
- General background knowledge of forwarding and shipping industry.
·Specific Skills
- Strong international experience and awareness of cultures
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Must be ethical, organized and able to prioritize and set goals.

- Common sense and problem solving skills required.
