Type of position

Temporary staff (1 year)

Responsibilities:

• Review Variation Orders received from CM to check on relevance, correctness and whether or not the VO is contract compliance (Focus of review is not the technical content, but contractual compliance)
• Manage the construction contract scope, Monitor contractors' performance to comply with contract clauses and manage contractual communication from IFF to contractors as directed by project manager
• Work with lawyer (both IFF internal as external) to deal with contractors for the contract incompliance issue.
• Manage all formal communication related to authorities, permitting
• Manage the contractual/legal aspects of any contract change
• Manage the IFF project transmittals

Requirements:

• College degree or above, major in engineering (mechanical, civil or electrical) is preferred
• 2-3 years experience in engineering contract management, experience in construction company is preferred
• Good interpersonal skills in dealing with contractors
• Proficiency in both reading and writing Chinese and English
• Energetic and serious-minded
• Experienced in legal aspects of construction projects is preferred
• Based in Guangzhou
