Role Summary/Purpose
Lead the commercial efforts and support the Renewables and P&W Sales Team supporting the Wind Service Segment with deal strategy, pricing recommendations, terms, and customer negotiations for Operations and Maintenance Contracts, CMU (Upgrades) and Strategic Parts Program sales. Coordinate with all internal functions as necessary and insure that all organizations are represented in the commercial process during the sale of Service contracts to support the Renewables Org Financial goals.
Essential Responsibilities
Develop winning strategies to close profitable and executable orders for the highly competitive Wind Services segment of Power Generation • Provide interface with counterparts in PG field sales on prescribed transactions including new unit and installed base through the R Process • Mobilize and lead multifunctional GE Energy support teams to implement the transactions strategy (Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, Contracts, Project Mgt. Legal, others) • Be principal owner and driver of the O&M Transactional details related to pricing, technical, financial, and commercial inputs to support the deal closure. • Participate in Quality initiatives within ITO to drive process rigor, NPS, and other improvements in the overall ITO process. • Support achievement of Commercial team metrics related to Orders, Sales and Margin.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Technology, Engineering or Business from an accredited institution• Minimum 4 years experience in Marketing, Sales, Commercial, Customer Service or equivalent experience associated with wind or related PG power products.• Must be fluent in English and Mandarin• At least 2 years prior experience with customer specification review, proposal development, contract development, and/or negotiations for equipment or service sales• Strong Communications skills, ability to interface with all levels of internal and customer personnel• The successful candidate may be located in China or Taiwan and must have the ability to travel as necessary
Desired Characteristics
MBA Degree from an accredited institution• Six Sigma Training - Green or Black Belt for GE Employees• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple transactions simultaneously• Wind Industry Experience
