Role Summary/Purpose
The EPC Application Engineer Leader develops close technical application engineering support relationships with key China EPC companies, and design institute. The objective of this role is to strategically identify opportunities for the customers to be more successful and solve customer problems through the deployment of integrated solutions based on the GE Energy product line portfolio.

Essential Responsibilities
? Proactively promote and position GE early in the project phase to create value and influence by working closely with EPC, end users or customers engineering company/design institute. ? Lead technical discussions with EPC’s, Engineering companies with the objective of promoting a solution leveraging the GE Energy product line portfolio. Maintain a high level of business acumen, communicate customer requirements to effectively leverage GE product line. ? Act as the focal point of technical expertise and engage product Application Engineers to provide technical solutions to EPC customers. ? Work closely with customers to understand technical requirement and be able to promote solutions. ? Provide technical expertise to EPC Account Executive team in selecting, implementing, and developing competitive product applications to address efficiency, resource scarcity and environmental requirements. ? Build deep and supportive application engineering relationships with key EPC’s. ? Participate in customer presentations, discussions, negotiations, conferences, and all front line marketing/sales efforts in a technical sales role. ? Maintain product and technology knowledge ? Maintain an awareness of international codes and standards ? Support GE productivity and quality initiatives

Qualifications/Requirements
? Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Control / Energy Power Engineering ? Fluent Mandarin & English? Strong background in EPC business? Minimum 10 years’ in Energy Power industry? Skillfully use professional software, Thermoflow, GTPPPS, etc. is preferred. ? Knowledgeable of Power Plant system, including combined cycle power plant, co-generation power plant and conventional coal fired power plant. ? Ability to execute and influence in a matrix organization structure? Excellent communication skills (written and spoken), well-established organizational and presentation skills ? Ability to communicate with all internal business levels and all levels of external customers? Team Player and self-starter with demonstrated problem solving and organization networking capabilities and the ability to operate without detailed work direction? Ability to share best practices across different cultures and organizations? Self-starter
