Role Summary/Purpose

The Asia Asset Optimization Leader is responsible for supply chain optimization of Asia Service inventory in Asia Pacific, China, and India regions. Interface with cross-functional teams to drive sustainable improvements to GPRS demand and fulfillment balanced with optimal inventory levels.

Essential Responsibilities

*Lead Asia Inventory estimating activities including continuous improvement projects around accuracy and standardization globally *Identify and drive process improvements around last time buys, NPI part stocking, and ECR/ECO part change-ups, and other factors driving service supply chain inefficiencies. *Create effective operating mechanisms with peers to drive inventory defects down working towards long-term improvements in process, planning, and decision making. *Improve regional rebalancing of stock resulting in reduced out-of-pole shipments to customers and optimal stocking levels globally. *Facilitate operating mechanism and drive issue resolution with cross-functional teams for all last time buy requests for Asia sourced parts. *Support GPRS Lean initiatives by participating in Kaizen workouts and implementing Lean ideas and processes in your everyday work environment.

Qualifications/Requirements

*Bachelor degree or a High School diploma and 5 years supply chain experience. *Prior Supply Chain experience in materials/ production planning, sourcing, master scheduling, or distribution *Strong analytical skills and PC Skills including MS Excel, Access, and PowerPoint*Outstanding verbal and written communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills.*You must be willing to take a drug test*You must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including for example, verification of your past employment, criminal history, and educational background.*You must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire.
