Role Summary/Purpose

As part of the GET Global Commercial Operations team, the Commercial Operations Leader will lead fast-paced, cross functional teams in the development and execution of winning deal strategies - evaluating competitive environment, getting price for value delivered, assuring cost information and meeting legal requirement and financial target - aimed at driving profitability and winning share by balancing customer and market requirements with engineering and supply chain resources.

Essential Responsibilities

* Work with Sales team and Product team to develop customer-and product specific signaling and locomotive parts Quote and Proposal packages; * Mobilize and drive internal Commercial Operation’s processes to ensure concerns in commercial discovery, risk mitigation and business commitment are properly reviewed and evaluated. Work as a Project leader to lead cross-functional teams to provide solution and develop strategy accordingly * Support the development, compliance review and negotiation of proposals/contracts, work with key customer contacts to develop specific product specifications and assure closure on all contract deliverables * Supports GE initiatives and be an active participant in deal strategy development, commercial negotiation and contract process- Work with internal Commercial Ops and cross-functional team to increase win rate, reduce Quote & Proposal Cycle time, increase GE content in deals * Ensure on time delivery of signaling and locomotive parts quotations, and develop tailored commercial terms and pricing for each customer and product family * Take lead for win/loss analysis and handover to OTR (Order to Remittance). * Maintain/track opportunity pipeline through SFDC.

Qualifications/Requirements

* Bachelor's degree * Minimum of 3 years of commercial experience * Strong communication and interpersonal skills* Familiar with financial and profitability analysis * Minimum of 1 year of experience negotiating with internal and external customers* Must be bilingual English/Chinese
