Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities

- Work as a team with Sales/Marketing Force to identify new opportunities, assist customers, prepare and discuss proposals - Evaluate customer requirements and communicate to the Sales / Marketing channel(s) in regard to design and costs - Participate in customer presentations, discussions, negotiations, conferences, and all front line marketing/sales efforts in a technical sales role. Be a catalyst in problem solving. - Assist in identifying and developing new business opportunities to maintain and grow the sales pipeline - Gather Industry Intelligence to inform business and engineering decision making - Evaluate and communicate requirements for order fulfillment to sourcing and operations - Review and influence customer specification to assure compliance and/or noted exceptions for development of equipment and service quotations - Make technical presentations to all levels of customer organization - Contribute positively to sales, orders, profitability and ITO quality goals - Manage and negotiate commercial risk within the ITO process - Attend technical negotiation meetings with customers and finalize technical proposal and relevant scope of supply for instrumentation and control parts. - Develop and help introduce to market new products. - Respond to various technical questions regarding, systems solutions based on process knowledge for Unconventional Gas / Oil.

Qualifications/Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in mechanical, electrical, petrochemical or related engineering program - Engineering complex systems and oil field systems integration knowledge - Prior experience with customer specifications review, proposal development, and contract development and negotiations- Fluent in English

Desired Characteristics

- Experience managing engineering programs through full life cycle - Experience in engineering or systems work areas associated with Production and Gas Gathering activities specifically related to Unconventional Gas / Oil developments- Experience in commercial environment with sales, marketing, application engineering or customer service
