Amazon has developed a number of innovative and fast-growing mobile properties. These include a set of core Mobile Commerce (mCommerce) offerings, the Amazon App Store, various Amazon mobile applications, and mobile content offerings including books, MP3, and video. Each of these products contributes to a broader mobile strategy which is already driving rapid growth. Yet, this is just the beginning of a longer term trend in which mobile will become an increasingly important component of Amazon’s customer offering.
In order to excellently execute Amazon mobile strategy and further drive growth for our mobile properties, we are seeking an innovative, results-oriented, customer-centric team player to help Amazon mobile business in China. This mobile account manager will drive the execution of OEM preload as well as operator preload, and also will be responsible for the downstream revenue generated from customer purchases. The account manager will be also for strategic partnerships throughout the region.
Some of the key job functions of the Mobile AM are:
? Manage the Go-To-Market process which interfaces to both internal groups and external partners to excellently execute agreed mission delivering Amazon mobile services as expected.
? Work with the product team and development team to create a prioritized, tactical action plan to optimize process of product delivery as well as data report and exceed goals.
? Serve as a key member of the Mobile Business Development team in helping to manage, monitor and optimize all established mobile distribution channel partners to ensure Amazon publishes high-quality mobile products to customers on time.
? Setup and optimize process to typically work with partners, including product delivery, data reporting, payment, contract renew and etc. to scale up mobile business.
? Maintain good partnerships with existing key partners.
? Work with internal functions to periodically plan and launch marketing campaign to drive mobile customer purchase and stickiness.
? Analysis of internal and external metric reports and determining corrective actions where necessary.
Basic Qualifications
? The right person will possess 5+ years of mobile service operations, Business Development and/or corporate development experience.
? Excellent understanding in mobile business.
? Strong ownership.
? Strong ability on execution
? Strong verbal and written communications skills, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
? Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English
? Bachelor degree
Preferred Qualifications
? Significant experience working within the CN carriers, OEMs and famous mobile internet services companies;
? Consistently exceeds key performance metrics
? Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; strong bias for action
? Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions
? Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, schedule tradeoffs and opportunistic new ideas with technical employees
? Street smarts and willingness to hands on to do what's necessary
? Master or MBA degree
