职位描述
Purpose:
1) Lead demand forecasting/planning process for certain PBU and channel
2) Leads in the process of extracting and validating demand from all market segments. This includes aftermarket, OE and export markets. Challenges Sales and Marketing data projections to ensure the plans proposed are as accurate as possible (in short and long term horizon: S&OP, AOP, R vs. CC)
3) Leads the coordination of the demand planning process with Marketing, Sales and Supply Chain for certain PBU, across all time horizons (short / mid / long term planning). Ensure that all functions use APO as the only one system for demand planning. The Demand Manager is accountable for data integrity and accuracy.
4) Accountable to achieve key Forecast Accuracy and OTIF performance indicators. (Unconstrained and constrained) in monthly planning horizon. Responsible for Finished Goods inventory and slow moving / obsolesces in particular.
Responsibilities:
1.Collect and analyze bottom up Sales Forecast by sales region by SKUs. Align with PBU on top down figures and demand allocation
2.Prepare sales forecast and inventory plan with Product Marketing/Supply Chain for New Product Launch
3.Work with SC on supply confirmation and allocation if any shortage
4.Assure master data related to demand forecast are up-to-date and accurate. Manage demand plan accurately for phase in and / or phase out product. Incorporate product life cycle volume dynamics into demand plan.
5.Participates in process improvement projects and makes recommendations to improve current IT system, process and organization. Proactively seeks improvement opportunities within the business proactively during the role.
Requirement:
1.Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Math, Economics, Statistics or Engineering.
2.Min of 5 years working experience in sales operations, marketing operations, customer service operations, demand / supply plans.
3.2-3 years working experience on continuous improvement within sales forecasting, demand planning, inventory management or operations planning.
4.Must have knowledge of relevant analytical tools / techniques, quantitative skills and problem solving ability work experience.
5.Strong experience in IT-enabled demand planning and sales forecasting system, ideally in SAP APO Demand Planning system.
6.Experience in managing master data.
7.Strong professional and interpersonal skills in working with sales/marketing managers
8.Strong interpersonal and project management skills, high flexibility and ability to drive change and deliver results under pressure.
9.Self confidence and assertiveness in questioning numbers and challenging assumptions being made by others.
10.Excellent negotiation skills / experience with diplomatic handling of challenging cross functional and business relationships by persuading, convincing and build partnerships in order to reach consensus.
11.Excellent communication and data presentation skills, ability to present complex analytical data and results in a simple way.
12.System and process driven.
13.Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
