Job Description *
The Product & Reliability Specialist/ Asst. manager is responsible in managing product related operation from NPI phase to sustaining phase. The area of coverage will be product analysis and improvement/optimization. He/she shall interface with customers and FLEX internal team to improve product performance.
? Focus of work on new product launches and NPI activities and product related issues for yield improvement activities and work closely with OPS team for discussion and resolution.
? Team player of the customer functional team during NPI and Special Builds.
? Provide technical engineering support on Bonepile and WIP reduction at Debug location. Work with MS PE for on-time disposition.
? Responsible for supporting the root cause analysis needed in support of product issues.
? Knowledge transfer on new product “technical know how” to the team upon ramp to MP product phases.
? Work closely with design, process technology, packaging, and reliability engineering and to ensure timely product failure characterization
? Provide deep dive FA report to customer on time and provide direction and plan to the team for deep FA analysis.
? Component Level analysis is a must and able to support deep FA for all NPI or Special builds
? In addition, this role will developed and implementation a Physical Failure Analysis operational model leveraging internal and external Failure Analysis labs.
? Communicates and shares information and methods with cross-functional team members
? Fit to travel to other Flex manufacturing sites as needed for new product development and NPI.
Job Requirements *
1 Education Qualification
1)Minimum Bachelor degree with Honors in either Computer, Communication, Electronics or Electrical Engineering. Candidates with Master degree are highly preferred
2 Knowledge & Skills
1)Ability to communicate in English and Chinese
2)Candidates should have good understanding of electronics circuitry
3 Personal Attributes
1)Good team-players, self-motivation and analytical minds
4 Experience
1)Minimum 6 years related working experience. NPI/DFX background is first.
2)Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply for junior position
