职位描述
Responsibilities:
To develop and implement business strategy and plans to achieve company's goals in key performance indicators.
To develop the operating budget, ensure attainment of the budget for the BU area and initiate corrective actions where necessary.
To be responsible for overall management on commercial, operations and shared service teams.
To develop, review and update policy & procedure and work standards to improve organizational competency.
To direct the development of new and improved manufacturing methods, tools, equipment, procedures and facility lay outs, designed to reduce cost and enhance efficiency.
To review capital project requests for all facility and equipment changes including M&A.
To develop a quality consciousness and pride of work attitude throughout the organization.
To ensure strong customer relations in collaboration with sales by reviewing complaints, non-conformances and following up to insure preventative action is completed.
To direct the compliance of all facilities with government safety and environmental regulations.
To direct organizational and employee development plans for existing and newly hired employees, insuring that they progress to the limits of their ability and add strength to the organization.
Performs M&A project
Specifications:
l The candidate should have tertiary education. Post graduate in General Management will be an advantage.
l Have excellent interpersonal skills within and outside the organization - peers, customers, government, business associates, etc.
l Strong capability to manage sales/management process and team.
l Detail oriented in operations management, from cost reduction, quality, efficiency, etc.
l Have proven track record to manage and improve top and bottom lines for a sizable business in China.
l Should have at least ten years' operations management experience in industrial products, preferably from the metal / chemical industry.
l Highly mobile - not afraid of intensive travel especially within China.
l Integrity, intelligent and proactive.
l Excellent English and Chinese language skills are required.
l Conversant in application of Microsoft Office, Lotus Note etc.
