Brand Development Manager(世界500强欧美化工行业公司,要求英语熟练,在零售行业有丰富的经验)
Team: China Retail BU Marketing
Reports to: Retail BU Marketing Manager
Location: Shanghai
Purpose of role:
Retail BU marketing team is primarily responsible to develop the competitive strategy for Retail, by means of leveraging credibility and experience in serving fuel customers in China, support performance enhancement programs in existing businesses. This role is responsible for brand management and drive for quality execution in both BU & JVs. The position will be based in Shanghai and reports to the BU Marketing Manager
Key Results/ Accountabilities expected from role
Prime accountability for the shaping and planning of the brand advertising and communications plans for all of the Retail brands including Retail Master Brand (Helios), jointly owned Dual Brands, ( Helios & partners) ; C-store brands (Express) and potentially fuel brand in the future.
? Work with the global brand team on defining Retail (China) brand architecture.
? Own the brand visual standards, and administer the consistent usage across the entire China Retail network and act as in-house Brand expert to offer insights on brand related issues, such as visual standard applications and communication messages.
? Develop the unique brand positioning and link it with a variety of retail operational levers
? Develop communication strategies and annual plans for Brand / Dual Brands, Express and other Offers
? Manage brand communications & promotions’ budget
? Develop high-impact and effective branding creative for both ATL and BTL, coupled with efficient media plans through working closely with our global agency
? Closely monitor & evaluate the delivery of all the communication programs
? Provide central support to JVs ASP specialists for delivery of business growth by the development of JV brand comms & promotional activities which drive customer’s brand awareness and loyalty
? Improve the overall brand communication capability within Retail (China) organization
? Work closely with fuel and store offer development managers to develop new product / offer including positioning, packaging, communication and launch plan ect.
? Manage relationship with appropriate external agencies, reviewing service levels on a period basis to ensure highest levels of performance are delivered within agreed cost levels
? Work with group brand and legal team for brand related legislation matters, such as trade marks registration and intellectual property protections
? Act as SPA for BU internal communications and coordinator with C & EA team.
Key challenges faced on the role
This role requires a good understand of the brand & product management. S/he is also required to have excellent communication skill both in verbal and in written because there is a huge amount of planning and activity deliveries will involve JVs meanwhile seeking support and alignment with group team, who might have different agendas in mind.
This role will be expected to define the scope & future resource requirements given the role covers a wide range of expertise, including brand management, communication strategy & plan; product development ect. Each put it self will be an independent discipline.
Experience & Expertise
? Excellent knowledge of brand development strategies
? Proven ability to plan and organize diverse branding activities in pressurized environment
? Good financial understanding, budget management and cost control experience
? Previous experiences in projects involving cross work-streams with diverse cultural background and under pressing time frame
? Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships, to influence individuals at all levels within the organization, and to manage conflicting priorities
? Good interpersonal skills
? Excellent communication at all levels
? High level of attention to detail
? Strong command of English
