Safety Engineer
PURPOSE
The SHERQ Compliance owns the Supply Chain SHERQ compliance
process. His responsibilities include managing and continuously
improving SHERQ and compliance in the supply chain and advise site
logistics on EHS issues involving transport and transportation
contractors. The scope of the work is WITHIN supply chain funtion
of the SBU Chemicals WITH the overall objective to contribute to
minimise transportation risks.
INTERACTIONS
Local and national governments, regulatory authorities, industry
associations, Ship Owners, Transportation Companies, Pipeline
Companies, Shipping Agents, Storage and Terminal companies, and
Inspection companies, Emergency services.
Global Supply Chain Execution L3, Land Transportation Department,
Marine Transportation Department, Time Charter Department,
Documentation, SABTANK, Marine Sourcing, Truck Sourcing and
Storage, SC Chemicals SHERQ, Corporate EHSS.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Masters Degree, preferably in Chemical Engineering or Logistics
Management.
5+ years professional experience working in EHS related positions
with 2+ years Supply Chain experience.
Expert in SHERQ management systems, in-depth logistics market
knowledge and knowledge of the business processes order to cash,
material handling and warehouse management.
