Required Skills/Qualifications:

-A college degree of mechanical design/manufacture or management in quality field.

-Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment, or in the quality field is desired.

-Requires a thorough knowledge of quality concepts including process control, analysis, Caterpillar internal certification principals, and ISO 9000 etc.

-Requires strong communication, cooperation and influence skills to work with all levels of employees and customers, especially with leadership management employees.

-Requires quality tools knowledge and to be able to teach manufacturing/office employees how to properly apply quality tools or techniques.

-Requires being proactive when accomplishing objectives, and innovation is also required to deal with work problems and opportunities.

-Advanced computer applications, good oral and written skills in English are a must.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for initiating internal quality management systems aligned to corporate CSFs that move the organization toward defined goals and objectives.

-Attend and coordinate with every division for CPS quality related initiatives

-Provide quality-training programs to all employees.

-Perform mid-year and annual audit to each IQC team to ensure their IQC activities conform to the requirements of MQ12005 or MQ3005.

-Facilitate mid-year & annual top management review to make sure top-level management has the thorough understanding each area’s business and offer necessary support for their continuous improvement.
