Responsibilities:


Business Analysis is responsible for the identification and definition of the business needs of their clients and stakeholders,and to help determine solution(s) to meet their business needs or resolve their business problem(s)

1.1 Business Analysis
Investigates operational requirements and problems,seeking effective business solutions through improvements in automated and non-automated components of new or changed processes. Assists in the analysis of the underlying issues arising from investigations into requirements and problems and identifies available options for consideration. Works with clients/users in defining acceptance tests.
1.2 Business Process Testing
Specifies and develops test scenarios to test that new/redesigned processes deliver improved ways of working for the end user at the same time as delivering efficiencies and planned business benefits. Records and reports test results. Uses test plans and outcomes to specify user instructions.
1.3 Data Analysis
Investigates corporate data requirements and applies data analysis,data modelling,and quality assurance techniques,to establish,modify,or maintain data structures and their associated components (entity descriptions,relationship descriptions,attribute definitions). Provides advice and guidance to database designers and others using the data structures and associated components.
1.4 Non-Functional Needs Analysis
Selects and uses tools and methods to establish,clarify and communicate the non-functional requirements of system users,their characteristics and tasks and identifies the technical,organisational and physical environment in which complex products or systems will operate.

Requirements:

Educated to a degree level, likely in an information technology or business specialty.
Has a familiarity with business and data analysis either through academic study or has gained familiarity and practical IT experience. Is growing business knowledge in at least on business area.
Has a systematic, disciplined, and analytical approach to problem solving with demonstrable verbal and written communications skills.
Has good interpersonal skills and is confident in dealing with business users. Is growing stakeholder management skills.
Is aware of the software engineering life-cycle for development and the concepts and practices required to implement effective information systems. Also has an awareness of the IT support / operations environment. Possesses general understanding of business and business skills.
