Responsibilities:

Introduction:
The logistics HSSE advisor provides HSSE support to the logistics and CP field teams. In addition to day to day field support the advisor is required to provide risk assessment,planning,coordination,contractor management and transport related incident investigation support for the operation,in particular the following:

- Provide advice to the Field HSSE lead,In field Manager,in field Superintendent and Logistics department on logistics HSSE hazard mitigation.
- Delivers technical HSSE HSE support to the logistics team identifying hazards/risks,assessing impacts,and working with the team to establish effective controls.
- Assisting other field teams operating in Sichuan on logistics HSSE risk management.
- Verifies that Logistics HSSE strategies,systems,policies,standards,and tools are in place and functioning in the field,including regular inspections of work site vehicles.
- Develops and promotes implementation of best practice and key learnings from incidents throughout the region.
- Guide in field contractors on logistics HSSE management in order to meet COMPANY HSSE expectations.
- Work with in field HSSE Lead on quality reviews of contractor Road Transportation Safety,Lifting and Hoisting Safety etc.
- Provide support for transport related incident investigations.
- Supporting the implementation of the Corporate Framework for HSSE and SP in the field as well as the supporting SCEPCo standards.

Requirements:

Introduction:
The position requires a combination of experience from both a logistics and HSSE perspective.

- Minimum 3 years working experience in the oil and gas industry with 2 years work in a logistics related role.
- Significant HSSE exposure and strong HSSE track record over number of years.
- Good understanding of transport HSSE risk, risk management and HSSE Cases
- Substantial experience in some of the following activities – transport management, risk assessments, incident investigation, auditing, including line management positions.
- Knowledge of PRC legislations on HSSE would be an advantage.
- Preferred - A degree in Science, Engineering or HSSE Management preferred
