Job Responsibilities / 职位描述:
- Support SCEPCO Company Site Representative by providing the Civil & Onshore structures discipline content in Appraisal Phase in the delivery of SCEPCO facilities and infrastructure eg well pad,road,drainage,foundation and piping,particularly in challenging terrain of Sichuan.
- Manage the consultants and contractors to ensure that they are working to the appropriate level of efficiency and within the allocated budget.
- Assume leadership role through continuous exhibition of core behaviors, coach and develop staff to build technical capacity and capability.
- Manage the local Civil & Onshore supervisors on sites including provision of learning and development opportunities to develop local staff
- Direct and guide the work,with an effective interface,between consultants and contractors to ensure that they are following appropriate work process guidelines to ensure that the work product meets Shell’s quality criteria.
- Work with the appropriate Shell Subject Matter Expert to ensure that the appropriate Shell and industry technical standards have been identified and are being followed.
- Develop pre-execution site management plan,(detailed) design reviews of site construction plan,constructability,contractor management etc.
- Assurance and management of civil construction on site including interfaces with various stakeholder and teams,including contractor for the successful completion of civil discipline content and handover to stakeholder
- Champion SCEPCO Asset Integrity Process Safety Management (AIPSM) assurance plan,jointly with other discipline leads,in particular to the Process Safety Basic Requirements

Job Requirements / 职位要求
- BS in Civil or Structural Engineering with focus on Geotechnical, preferably with 5 more years working in a geotechnical engineering consultancy or function, and 10 or more years in onshore civil construction on challenging terrain emphasis on site preparation, earthworks, foundation, road, drainage and pipelines construction and engineering.
- Experience in implementation and execution of onshore civil project with sufficient skill in managing stakeholders from consultant, contactors to interfaces stakeholders
- Good spoken and written in Mandarin and English, strong communication skills (both English and Mandarin)
- Sound technical judgment, with a sense for realism in project schedules and budgets
- High personal energy level and a proven track record in achieving and stretching personal and business goals
- Significant field experience gathered from a wide range of locations. Experience in working in remote field locations (e.g. desert, tropical, hilly environments) would be an advantage.
- Ability to quickly establish relationships with practitioners to ensure discipline engineering processes and standards are consistently applied.
- Good knowledge of Shell and International engineering standards, best practices, systems, and an established network to call upon and deploy this knowledge within China.
