Responsibilities:


The successful applicant will:
-Develop a close working relationship with customers’ technical staff,e.g. unit engineers,plant supervisors etc.
-Establish themselves as a credible EO catalyst technical expert capable of working with customers independently for start-up and trouble shooting at the plant operation level
-Produce high and consistent quality technical proposals to customers
-Provide world class,value adding,technical service
-Actively solicit feedback from customers on the quality of products and services and communicate this feedback to commercial function.
-Working closely with the global Technical Service team and actively contribute to the continuous updating and improvement of procedures and tools,e.g. start-up procedures,modeling tools,etc.

The successful candidate is expected to perform relatively independently after a period of familiarization of the EO catalyst technology. Ability to cultivate a long term profitable relationship with customers is also important

Requirements:


The ideal candidate should have:
-Graduate Technical Degree from a recognized university (or equivalent)
-Good writing and presentation skills
-Minimum of 4 years experience in refining or petrochemical operation or technology support
-Knowledge of heterogeneous catalysis is a plus
-Ability to cooperate with Shell GS, the Shell Group as a whole and outside parties (clients, Engineering Contractors, etc.) is a plus
