Our client is a large European FMCG leader with large operation set-up in Shenzhen. We are looking for an experienced LEAN/Six-Sigma professional to take the lead on various LEAN projects with suppliers in South China.
Key Responsibilities:
The Senior LEAN Manager is reporting to General Manager of Asia for Operation/Procurement.
You are responsible for driving LEAN implementation at suppliers for both core and extended line, focus on supplier development through collaboration across the departments of Asia Procurement & Quality
Facilitate LEAN implementation at suppliers, implement the Lean culture, Lean methods at suppliers with focus on shop floor
Train suppliers and internal staff in the LEAN tools & Mindset
Drive specific LEAN projects at the suppliers to achieve committed savings and realize identified opportunities for improvement at Suppliers
Collaboration with supplier and ensuring they take ownership and drive the LEAN agenda
Aligning the local LEAN practice with company standards
Drive waste elimination in key processes at the suppliers
Report relevant KPIs related to the suppliers' improvement progress
Work together with internal teams towards a sustainable supplier platform
Key Qualifications:
University Degree in Engineering/ Manufacturing or related discipline
7+ years’ experience in LEAN implementation at production shop floor, with 3+ years’ experience in multinational corporate company with high standards
Experienced project management, and an experienced change agent with focus on Productivity increase/cost reduction and leadtime improvement projects without compromising the Quality level
Strong interpersonal, facilitation and coaching skills
Fluent English is a must
