Job Description: Test Engineer
Location: China

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Test Engineer to join our Autonomous Driving Technology Company in China. As a Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of our autonomous driving systems. You will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, conducting various testing activities to support the development and validation of autonomous driving software and hardware.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Planning: Collaborate with the development and validation teams to create comprehensive test plans that encompass various testing phases, including simulation, closed-course testing, and on-road testing.

Test Case Design: Design and document test cases and test scenarios for autonomous driving functions and features, considering a wide range of driving conditions and use cases.

Test Execution: Execute tests using a variety of tools and methodologies, such as simulation software, test vehicles, and specialized testing equipment.

Data Collection: Collect and analyze data generated during testing to evaluate the performance and safety of autonomous driving systems.

Troubleshooting: Identify, investigate, and report defects and anomalies encountered during testing, and work closely with the development team to resolve issues.

Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all testing activities adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements for autonomous driving technology.

Documentation: Maintain detailed records of test results, issues, and improvements, and contribute to test reports and documentation.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, hardware engineers, and other test engineers, to drive product quality and performance.

Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to autonomous driving to enhance testing methodologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Previous experience in software or hardware testing, preferably in the automotive or autonomous driving industry.
Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, test case design, and test execution.
Experience with testing tools and automation frameworks.
Familiarity with autonomous driving technologies, sensors, and perception algorithms.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Proficiency in relevant programming languages and scripting (e.g., Python, C/C++).
Understanding of safety standards and regulations related to autonomous driving is a plus.
Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English is often required for communication within the team and with global stakeholders.
