Placement Value Stream Supervisor - Insurance Operation

This role will be responsible to provide services to brokers during Placement process, such as slips generation, quote comparison; renewal preparation, online billing preparation, PDI capture, etc.

We will count on you to
Management
- Ensure alignment and implementation between Placement Support Target Operating Model (TOM) with in country’s practice.
- Coordination with Regional Placement Support & Policy Service and Country O&T Leader.
- Coordination with other value stream leaders when needed, i.e., Client Management Operations, Policy Servicing, Fiduciary.
- Build and maintain relationship with all departments where the team supports.
Business as Usual
- Placement Value Stream process standardization and measurement across different requestors from various departments. Document as a Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) and keep it updated.
- Oversee overall Placement Support to brokers by members, including slips generation, quote comparison; renewal preparation, online billing preparation, PDI capture, etc .
- Resolve escalated operational issue and work together with other value streams as needed.
- Deliver training to team members to refresh their knowledge and skills.
- Put appropriate control in each process to reduce E&O risk.
- Look for continuous improvement opportunity to improve efficiency in Placement Support areas.
- Manage members to deliver service as per agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA).
Change
- Support Country O&T Leader in implementing change related to Placement Support area.
Talent
- Performance management and coaching of Team Members
- Identify and develop key talents
What you need to have
- Bachelor degree at minimum
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in a large corporate environment, MNC in financial industry, is preferred.
- Familiar with various Property Casualty insurance products : Property, Motor, Marine Cargo, Liability, Financial Lines, etc
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong organization skills
- Has a good discipline, able to prioritize work, and meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
- Outlook, Excel, and Power Point
- Proficient in English both writing and oral
- Flexibility and adaptability to perform in a fast paced and dynamic environment
What makes you stand out
- Hands-on experience of setting up operation standards or process is preferred.
- Detailed understanding of insurance or broking insurance is a plus.
