Role Summary/Purpose
Engineering associated with the manufacturing and testing process. Requires mastery of a body of theoretical knowledge. Requires developed and strong foundation of function skills and knowledge of relevant technologies.
Essential Responsibilities
? Responsible for NPI testing (equipment selection/installation, testing station layout design/build) and deliver result on schedule
? Responsible for developing quality/testing plan, inspection instruction
? Responsible for dealing with testing issue/failure including root cause analysis, solving action and improvement action tracking
? Drive assembly quality improvement by summarizing/analysis of testing issue/failure
? Drive lean/kaizen activities for testing process to reduce testing labor hour and shorten troubleshooting time
? Lead process improvement to meet standard hours target
? Initiate/introduce advanced MFG technologies to improve the productivity and quality for testing process
? Build network and maintain good relationship with GE internal and external testing experts/supplier
? Responsible for troubleshooting within in limited time when test equipment shut down
? Responsible for training inspector or technician to improve testing knowledge and skill
? Works on cross functional and Global teams
? Leads analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods (Trouble shooting on WI, Tooling …)
Qualifications Required:
? 5+ year experience, Bachelor or Master degree in Electronic/Electrical or related field
? Experiences in product quality, lean and testing
? Familiar with UL/CCC standards
? Good in written and oral English
? Excellent communication skill
? Good team player
