Finance (FIN)
Global Finance aims to provide HSBC with a professional, effective and responsive finance service that operates at optimal cost and employs a common and transparent global model.
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.
In this role, you will:
1) Supervise juniors and review return accuracy by validating details.
2) Heavily involved in new product/initiatives discussions to analyse any regulatory impacts
3) Timely respond to various regulator's questions regarding PC areas.
4) Efficient communication with stake holders to address their ad-hoc asks.
5) Perform deep dive study and assist Head of PC to drive various projects.
Qualifications
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Familiar with Global Market products including derivatives, bond and MMK in terms of accounting, Balance Sheet and PnL.
- 5 years + experience in financial or regulatory reporting area.
- Strong knowledge of Excel and Python will be a plus.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Confident to deal with Global Markets traders and sales people in technical discussions related to valuation of financial products and capable of working under pressure
- Accountable, self-motivated and have strong sense of taking ownership
