POSITION SUMMARY:
职位概述：
- The target of Electronics Engineer is to be a product and manufacturing expert in electronics products in the facility. Working together with US/EU manufacturing and design team to set up new production line in the facility at the startup period. After that, mainly focus to analyze/solve product problem. Required to repair returns and provide technical customer service in close cooperation with Kollmorgen engineering and product owners in US and EU when it is required.
- Electronics Engineer will be responsible for continuously improving process productivity and product quality, who should be familiar with production technology as well as process documentation.
- He or she will focus on manufacturing process, standardize working document, solve production/quality problem and train operators. The role also participates in RMA evaluation, part qualification, new model prototyping and engineering change analysis.
- Electronics engineer works closely with quality engineer and design engineer, also provides support to material team and equipment team. Good interpersonal skill and teamwork spirit are essential.
- The Electronics engineer must be a multifaceted individual, calling upon a variety of problem-solving skills. He or She must become knowledgeable of the assigned electronical product lines in areas of understanding the design documentation, design intent of components and assemblies, test parameters and customer’s expectations.
- The successful candidate will be responsible (signing authority) for dispositioning discrepant components, drive assembly and testing issues. Working with the Radford Design engineers for disposition.
- The Electronics Engineering role participates in cost reductions, quality improvements and may be called upon to participate in minor design changes or SAE (Same As Except) design changes and model extensions.
- Good organization skills are required to maintain prioritization of tasks. The Electronics Engineer also works with SQE (Supplier Quality Engineers) and QE (Quality Engineers) and can either give assistance or receive assistance to the SQE/QE functions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assure production cell and operators to meet EHS requirement
- Fulfill aftermarket agreements and priorities.
- Close work to electrical products global design team for design change and knowledge management.
- Assist design team with engineering change issue and customized product.
- Responsible for Internal/external course/education to share competence or information.
- Analyze products returned by customer and internally rejected units from the production and projects to find the root cause and set the countermeasure. In more complex cases, work together with Kollmorgen oversea engineers.
- When required, repair products returned by customer and repair rejected units from the production and projects
- Document analyze findings etc. and load the RMA-central with quality data (serial number=>problem description=>root cause=>counter measure). Understand the need of and use accurate and complex Q-data.
- Execute documentation/statistics of analyze on request from product owner or R&D.
- Support new product introductions and new production cell set up.
- Generate automation ideas and participate in the automation projects. Lead or participate in operation related kaizens.
- Create and maintain documentation on existing working process in accordance with quality systems.
- Train operators based on WIs.
- Support sourcing team on material qualification.
- Lead or participate in cost reduction/quality improvement project.
- Lead or participate in VAVE projects, submit VAVE ideas.
- Other tasks that assigned by Engineering Manager.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Above 3 years work experience on below arears in electronics products (motion controllers/ power converters are preferred.)
Analysis on component level
Analog and digital electronics
Electronics containing both hardware and software
Good knowledge in root cause analysis and finding counter measure
Good skills in writing and speaking English
Read schematics
Measuring Technique
Component knowledge
IT (Preferred Labview knowledge, MS Office)
ESD knowledge
Soldering / IPC 610
Excellent analyse/fault finding technique
