Responsibilities:

• Support multiple manufacturing locations to address customer issues, performance metrics, and improvement projects. Provide leadership and management for the quality function and sustain the quality culture.
• Lead key quality initiatives to ensure the team is meeting expectations. Ensuring that all locations are meeting the current standards, processes, and procedures.
• Activily participates and oversee’s plant-level projects to ensure each location is supported and driving quality improvement projects.
• Resolve all Regional Customer Quality related issues through coordination with Sales, Advanced Engineering, RD&E, and Global Manufacturing.
• Develop and manage the direction of quality and reliability standards for the facilities. Execute and manage Regional Quality Compliance Requirements.
• Helps to create strategies for areas of accountability and anticipates emerging issues, providing input into the solutions to these issues.
• Communicates customer, regulatory and organizational requirements to assure product quality, contract compliance, and customer satisfaction.
• Drive and establish quality procedures through benchmarking, collaboration, and data analysis that reduce cost, minimize variability and improve resource optimization and utilization.
• Manage a team of multiple quality managers across numerous geographical sites.
• Work in conjunction with the Operations Directors and Plant Managers to drive a collaborative quality culture.

Requirements:

• Candidates should possess a 4-year technical degree; an Engineering degree is preferred, and an advanced degree is highly desirable.
• Ideal candidate is working towards or has completed a Master's degree (or international equivalent) in Business, Engineering, or related areas of study preferred
• Implementation experience of statistical methods such as DOE and SPC.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills and experience in structured problem solving (example A3, 8D, quick problem solving).
• Working knowledge of ISO standards and requirements.
• At least ten years of quality experience within the manufacturing industry.
