Promote Microchip Ethernet switch products and provide technical support to customers in North China territory.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead the support of the full product cycle. Get product design in, insure the design win and mass production and handle field application issue.

Provide onsite technical support to key customers on products and help customers to solve the issues.

Interacting with and educating customer engineering teams to help them succeed with Microchip products

Architecture, design, implementation, and testing of embedded software modules and Linux device drivers (Linux, C, MIPS, ARM).

Porting, integration and bring-up of application SW and driver on Microchip reference designs and customer platforms.

Debugging software and solving complex problems to meet customer application requirement.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

Bachelor degree above, master is preferred, major in Electronic, Communication or Information Engineering.

At least 3 years R&D or technical support experience in Ethernet switch, router or PTN equipment design and test. Familiar with packet network related protocol and standard (TCP/IP, PTN, TSN etc). Skilled SW development under embedded RTOS, C program developing and debugging. A certain hardware design based, familiar with various measurement equipment, support hardware and software debugging and system level test.

Ability to interface with customers and build strong and credible relationships with customer R&D team. Working experience in Huawei, ZTE, Broadcom, Marvell, CENTEC is preferred.

Work under pressure, active working attitude, and able to work independently as well as in a team.

Good English language skills both written and spoken.
