Position: R&D Engineer

Educational and Language Qualifications

    

Master degree or Ph.D. degree in a technical field such as Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science or a related field.

    

Working experience in industrial products or consumer goods industry is a plus.

    

Fluent English in oral and writing.

    

Job Responsibilities

    

? Develop the new products for the applications in the fields of Household & Personal Care (including fabric care, personal care and pet care), as well specialty materials, drilling fluid and metalcasting additives

    

? Scale up the lab formulation with pilot plant facility

    

? Lead the plant trials of new developed product and coordinate the trial results and products with the external and internal customers

    

? Initiate or contribute to define and follow up critical product properties being subject for customer product specifications

    

? Assess competitor products to determine competitive threats and opportunities.

    

? Develop and prepare the new product samples and manage the tracking

    

? Maintain and update product data sheets and specifications for assigned products

    

? Provide the technical support to the production plant when the problems and customer complaints are of technical nature

    

? Support timely to the sales team, mainly providing the samples analysis and preparation, as well technical reports

    

? Cooperate with external Universities and Institutes to run the analysis not available within corporate labs

    

? Provide customers with technical assistance and product application help (in person and through technical reports)

    

? Prepare and Perform customer trainings in the form of individual presentation, group technical seminar and lab demonstration and joint investigation

    

? Prepare and Present technical papers at conference

    

? Train the lab technicians

    

? Engage in Operational Excellence activities

    

? Maintain 5S and TPM policy of lab instruments and equipment
