Job Duties/Roles
1. Acts as a professional specialist for the organization in the application of related rules, regulations, requirements, concepts, principles and processes.
2. Performs routine surveys on classed vessels, platforms or other marine structures and at manufacturers for classification and compliance with statutory requirements.
3. Prepares technically accurate and timely reports of inspections and surveys performed.
4. Engages in contact with clients to resolve problems within area of expertise.
5. Maintains survey files in an orderly and up-to-date manner in area of responsibility.
Required/Preferred Education Requirements
1. Major in Marine Engineering/Ship dynamics, bachelor degree or above
2. Graduated university preferred: Dalian Maritime University, Dalian University of Technology, Harbin Engineering University, Tianjin University
Required/Preferred Professional Requirements
1. Appropriate certification and/or licenses in area of specialization as may be required.
