职位描述
Overall purpose of job:
Be able to have comprehensive understanding on the business strategy requested by functional teams, crushing plants, third-party customers etc. and balance satisfying customer needs and supporting the goals of the organization. Leading, developing and managing GTE team to ensure smooth import / export operations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and guide all activities of GTE BBS Tianjin team enabling the messages are delivered accurately and responses are provided in timely manner.
- measure and analyse work performances, proposes improvements to the processes and enhance standardization metrics management.
- Supervise team for best practice specifically for entire operation chain from origin to destination including contract term negotiation and finalization, pricing confirmation, LC issuance/amendment request, vessels movements follow-up, loading & discharging coordination, documentation review, presentation for letter of credit, laytime settlement with buyers/receivers as well as insurance claim etc.
- Work with functional teams, follow the decision and strategy and make final settlement.
- Familiar to the updated protocol in oilseed, grain commodities industry and related foods industry, prioritize various import permit applications scheme to match vessels, containers ETA China.
- During distribution operation chain, work closely on receivable payment status vs cargo release introduction, match with the receivers’ barge, truck delivery plan
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required, major in international trading or related program preferred
- 3-5 years operational experience with international trade and equivalent, in Agribusiness and / or foods industries preferred
Desired Qualities/Skills
- Strong in driving changes and evolving the process for standardization flow.
- Knowledge of UCP600 & Incoterms required
- Basic knowledge of FOSFA, GAFTA, related terms plus
- Work independently and prioritize effectively
- Excellent English speaking, reading and writing skills.
- Excellent office software skills including Excel, SAP etc.,
