Main Accountabilities：

1. Manage technical and commercial purchasing activities concerning “small” Group commodities or Sub-commodities (e.g. Cables or Fasteners as part of Standard Components)

？ Research, selection, supervision, evaluation and development of suppliers in consideration of the commodity sourcing approach & supplier nomination strategies

？ Develop a reliable supplier panel on the assigned commodities and sub commodities (quality, risk management, logistics, R&D, productivity) and approve the strategic supplier set

？ Negotiation of contracts and prices. Put in place all relevant standardized documents (contracts , agreements, ...)

？ Creation of market-, value- and make-or-buy- analyses 

2. Drafting, sending and evaluation of global/international RfQ’s

3. Responsible for planning, accounting and assuring of budget/standard planning. Consolidation of group-wide CG requirements and budgets (baseline for CG measurements).

4. Planning, monitoring and controlling of purchasing volume to achieve an optimal balance between quality, costs and supplier performance

5. Acting as interface to diverse internal functions and organizational units like Group-wide Purchasing, PPC, Engineering, Human Resources, Marketing, Controlling etc.

6. Modeling and implementation of process optimization and standardization 

7. Troubleshooting, order- and data management

8. Develop Purchasing strategy for assigned dedicated commodities, components and indirect materials

9. Manage cross-functional commodity team, worldwide projects and carry out international teamwork.

10. Manage Buyer, Junior Buyer and/ or Assistant (if applicable).

11. Provide to Group commodity the PBU/ Division/Group function needs in order to anticipate the creation of supplier panel and contribute PBU/ Division/Group function needs to group commodity strategy

12. Develop and define the commodity group strategy and group wide execution in collaboration with the Commodity Management

Requirements：

？ Educational background:

？ Degree in industrial engineering, engineering, business management + professional experience in purchasing function (3-5 years)

？ Commercial and/or technical apprenticeship + professional experience in purchasing function, preferable “Commodity-Management” experience (8 years and more)

？ Professional technical and/or business knowledge 

？ Knowledge of Value Management

？ Basic legal knowledge 

？ Coaching experience

？ High willingness to travel

？ Foreign Language: English

？ Advanced knowledge of SAP-R3, MS Office
