Qualification:

  1.       Bachelor degrees with at least 4 yrs. quality control management and quality assurance management experience in a foreign company.

  2.       Be familiar with IATF16949 system

  3.       Be familiar with automotive industry quality system, such as PPAP, APQP, MSA, SPC, FMEA

  4.       Fluent English communication skills

  5.       Pass internal color test

 

Responsibilities of People Development and employee relations

   1)      Training

   a.       Analyzes self knowledge and skills, propose self-annual training needs based on the Performance Appraisal Result.  b.       Analyzes subordinates’ performance gaps and make training or coaching plan  c.       Is responsible for subordinates on job training to make sure everyone could competent in his/her position.

  2)      Performance Management  Manages subordinates’ performance through goal setting, performance tracking and monitoring as well as improvement suggestion and coaching     

  3)      Career Development a.       Is encouraged to actively develop own career by obtaining the most up to date knowledge and skills. b.       Is responsible for subordinates’ career development through proper training and performance management. 

  4)      Employee Relations a.       Maintains amiable, respectful working relationships with co-workers both inside and outside the Department. b.       Establish the day-to-day climate of mutual respect and trust needed to maintain healthy employee management relations. .

 

Functional Job Activities (Please specify the percentage of each activity):

     Activity 1: IATF16969 system and external customer audit                           15%

     Goal: Ensure all the established quality policies, system, process and product procedures are compliant with legal/corporate specifications and IATF16969 system requirement, maintain high customer satisfaction.

   1.         Prepare the IATF16969 system, process and product audit plan.

   2.         Implement internal audit plan and continuous improvement

   3.         Manage external audits, customer audit and visit for high customer satisfaction

   4.         Reviews external complains for the purpose of developing appropriate quality policies and standards, work with other departments to work out the improvement action plan and oversees the improvement actions’ follow up.  

     Activity 2: Manage customer complaints 15%

     Goal: Reviews external complains for the purpose of developing appropriate quality policies and standards, work with other departments to work out the improvement action plan and oversees the improvement actions’ follow up.

     1.          Lead and Coordinate plant operation / technical and PD to appropriately respond to customer compliants.        2.          Lead 8D or PSR report analysis to timely feedback to external customer.

   3.          Support FQE to handle and analyze quality issue and visit customer site when necessary for quality communication.

   4.          Visit customer periodically, conducts the necessary investigation of the products. Communicates to the customer observations and resolutions in an honest manner with professionalism and diplomacy. Give the training to the customer to let them better understand our product and prevent unnecessary and unreasonable rejection;  

      Activity 3: Quality Control                                  30%

     Goal: Maintains a continuous inspection, testing, analysis, and problem resolution process to ensure quality standards can be met on a continuous basis.

    1.          Directs effective inspection and testing activities (process set up spec, hide sampling verification and OQC final hide inspection) to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products.

    2.          Designs and implements quality control training programs to key personnel in conjunction with managers;         

    3.          Develops and monitors process controls (FTP) throughout the manufacturing operation to assure quality production of products consistent with established standards

    4.          Eliminate customer side sorting cost by implementing effective solutions to response to the quality concerns.            

Activity 4: Finishing FTP (first time pass) system 20% Goal: Continuously improve the FTP system to ensure process and product quality

   1.       Coordinates with other function in planning and implementing quality improvement programs.

   2.       Strive LPA audit master plan implementation in plant

   3.       Weekly FTP review to identify key improvement opportunities  

     Activity 5: Whole hide agreement & hide utilization study                                 20%

     Goal: Act as plant one voice to work with commercial and FQE to set up appropriate whole hide agreement with customer to safeguard EO interest (minimize the risk of scrap or PD) by utilizing hide utilization study result

   1.         To support commercial team for whole hides quality agreement analysis and propose the best option.

   2.         Sustain periodically study hide utilization by different program / different crust source to give best recommendation for crust change.  

 

Responsibilities of Quality System: Is familiar with the company’s quality procedures, strictly follows the company’s quality system of IAFT16949 and Formel Q.
