POSITION SUMMARY:

This role is a Pricing Analyst, Price Reporting and Analytics reporting to the Manager, Pricing Greater China and Director, Marketing Global Mobility. The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for tracking pricing results and variance in all regions for the Global Mobility business unit. This role will also be responsible for completing strategic pricing and data analytics that are highly visible within the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: List the essential functions that are core to this position and represent at least 5% of the incumbent’s time. Other duties may be assigned beyond the core functions listed below.

• Conduct strategic pricing and data analysis for drive system components (metals).
• Consolidate and report monthly price results & analyze variances and trends, including price realization.
• Partner with corporate pricing team to produce similar analytical reports for belt products.
• Record and track special pricing agreements and perform impact and profitability analysis for these agreements.
• Use pricing and financial tools and models to produce accurate product and customer price and profitability assessments and assist in evaluation of business opportunities.
• Support Product and Sales team in analyzing business problems related to pricing and profitability.
• Support management in development and implementation of pricing and profitability projects, including tracking of royalty and commission payments on current & future products.
• Support additional pricing inquiries and tasks as needed, including budgeting and forecasting process.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Functions as an individual contributor with no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• BA/BS in Finance, Applied Mathematics, Engineering or Economics
• 2-5 years’ experience in Pricing, Finance or Analytics

• >REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Self-motivated, able to work effectively supporting a US team remotely

• Strong English verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent Financial Analysis and Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Relational database and data warehouse experience preferred
• Data visualization experience preferred
• Strong ability to compile, interpret and present complex pricing and profitability analysis
• Demonstrates entrepreneurial attitude, intellectual curiosity, critical thinking and problem solving skills

• Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building collaborative relationships

• Organized, able to support and manage multiple initiatives and projects, flexible to accommodate changing business needs and fixed deadlines.
