As a Procurement and Logistic you will be responsible for implementing effective sourcing strategies for assigned category and drive project execution to support LD and factory business objectives, delivering SCM targets for assigned category, in Electrification Business Area in Tianjin, China.
Reporting to the Procurement & Logistics Manager, you will involve in new product development SCM activities, product cost and Supplier Quality improvement by working together with quality department.
- Supporting sourcing strategy development and implementation in close alignment with category manager to deliver PL KPI for assigned category
- Being responsible for cost reduction for assigned category through project development, negotiation, benchmark quotation and leveraging all sourcing tools to improve supplier competitiveness
- Leading supplier development and performance improvement in CNSCT for assigned category and closely collaborating with plant teams to conduct regular SPE and drive improvement actions
- Supporting LD PL initiatives across ELDS China plants and get well connected with global category team to support global sourcing strategy in China
- Being responsible for daily and project RFQ process for CNSCT mechanical parts for new article developed from engineering and technical center
- Being responsible for Product SCM for LPG ZSSG, involve in gate model of new product development for SCM activities, setting up product SCM strategy, analyzing and monitoring product cost trend, initiating product cost reduction and quality improvement activies
- Working together with Quality Department to manage supplier quality issue, supplier audit and evaluation, supplier quality excellence program
- Applying and implementing ABB SCM standards, tools and processes in category management. Ensuring and implementing ABB policy and SCM guidelines in sourcing activities
- 10 years of working expereince
- A Bachelor’s Degree or above
- Sourcing experience in all facts of direct material
- Good knowledge of mechanical parts and metal material
- Excellent communication, negotiations, interpersonal and analytical skills with the ability to manage and develop supplier relationships and support internal customers
- Fluency in English, verbal and writing
- Must have strong analytical, structured and fact-based mindset
