We are hiring a DC Operation Manager talent to take whole responsiblity of the Toll Lingang DC operation management.

• Base in Shanghai Pudong Lingang

The role of DC Operations Manager is to supervise the daily operations of the Distribution Centre (DC), administration and associated distribution activities so that people and equipment are employed efficiently and the warehousing, declaration and distribution activities are performed safely, accurately and in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements. The Operations Manager directs the day-to-day operations of the DC to ensure service and financial targets are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set and manage standards and performance expectations for front line or work group leadership to ensure the highest standards of excellence in customer service, reliability and efficiency, and sustainability in safety and environmental performance.
• Make sure front line or work group leadership have a customer first mindset and the operation is set up to put the customer first especially when linking with other operations or businesses to provide the service.
• Manage the warehouse and distribution operation within agreed contractual parameters to deliver quality best in class service.

• By measurement and review, ensure that service levels are met in distribution.
• Ensure all instances of service failure, loss or damage to goods are investigated, and develop and instigate remedial action to prevent recurrence. In the event of serious damage, loss or theft, notify the customer and Vice President – Operations, GL Asia immediately (providing both written and verbal reports).

• Develop and implement performance measurement criteria (Key Performance Indicators) for customer profitability, and report KPI’s to senior management on a monthly/weekly basis.

• Prepare and update job descriptions as required and ensure all direct reports act in accordance with their specified job description.

Requirement:

To be succesful in this role, you need:

• 5+ years experience in DC operation management and good knowledge about 3pl business;
• Good in both written and spoken English;
• Knowledge about Custom (关务知识）
