DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION

Managing Heavylift- and Oversized Cargo

Responsible for global inventory management , trade compliance and logistics optimisation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide transport prices to sales in tendering phase of the project

Harmonise shipping processes across the product lines

Monitor and report agreed KPIs.

Responsible for warehousing strategy , including infrastructure and process development

Inventory management within designated warehouses

Optimise trade compliance, like customs & VAT.

Assess and manage ongoing day-to-day work and processes together with Local Teams, key external and internal stakeholders to ensure the standards of service.

Obtain and maintain needed shipping market intelligence

Close cooperation with Sales, Purchasing, Contract Management, Production Control and Component Logistics Teams

Ensure that company Code of Conduct is followed in all teams

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education:

Suitable university degree level

Experience:

＞10 years in Logistics management position

Leadership experience preferred

Competencies:

Experience in developing and implementing complex logistics processes and management activities for multiple product lines.

Strong knowledge of logistic processes and tools. Experience in developing and harmonising existing processes and tools and ways of working to increase efficiency and productivity.

Expertise knowledge in Chinese trade or import/export practices.

Strong communication and Influential skills in working with key internal and external stakeholders.
