?Manufacturing engineer will be responsible for continuously improving process productivity and product quality, who should be familiar with production technology as well as process documentation.

?He or she will mainly focus on manufacturing process, standardize working document, solve production/quality problem and train operators. The role also participates in RMA evaluation, part qualification, new model prototyping and engineering change analysis.

?Manufacturing engineer works closely with quality engineer and design engineer, also provides support to material team and equipment team. Good interpersonal skill and teamwork spirit are essential.

?The Manufacturing engineer must be a multifaceted individual, calling upon a variety of problem solving skills. He or She must become knowledgeable of the assigned product line of machines in areas of understanding the design documentation, design intent of components and assemblies, test parameters and customer’s expectations.

?The successful candidate will be responsible (signing authority) for dispositioning discrepant components or machine assembly and testing issues and working with the Radford Design engineers for disposition.

?The Manufacturing Engineering role participates in cost reductions, quality improvements and the successful candidates position can grow into the Design Engineering role with sufficient experience and success and may be called upon to participate in minor design changes or SAE (Same As Except) design changes and model extensions.

?Good organization skills are required to maintain prioritization of tasks. The Manufacturing engineer also works with SQE (Supplier Quality Engineers) and QE (Quality Engineers) and is capable of performing those functions as well and can either give assistance or receive assistance to the SQE/QE functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

?Assure production cell and operators to meet EHS requirement

?Responsible for optimizing the process to improve productivity and product quality continuously.

?Evaluate and apply suitable engineering techniques to solve production problems.

?Standardize production process, purchase and improve tooling, fixtures and equipment

?Lead or participate in process automation project, submit process automation ideas.

?Lead or participate in operation related kaizens.

?Create and maintain documentation on existing working process in accordance with quality systems.

?Train operators based on WIs, provide technical support on RMA analysis and repairing.

?Assist design team with engineering change issue and customized product.

?Support sourcing team on material qualification.

?Machine/component/part qualification support

?Establish and implement health and safety policy and procedures, recommend changes to working processes and conditions so that all employees have a safe and healthy working environment and the organization complies with all current and future regulations and laws.

?Product design change with supporting analysis (PCR)

?Product document working knowledge of (model matrix, GSS, KCD, KWD, etc.)

?Root cause analysis of defects in machine/component/parts.

?Trouble shooting Test Stations issues with machine or components.

?Work with Radford team to implement design change.

?Lead a cost reduction/quality improvement project.

?Lead or participate in VAVE projects, submit VAVE ideas.

?Trouble shooting and knowledge support to other engineering teams.

?Other tasks that assigned by Engineering Manager.

Bachelor degree or above in mechanical engineering or similar.

Minimum 3 years working experience in mechanical manufacturing company.

Familiar with process and document on product manufacturing.

Good oral and written English level.

Good command of MS office tools and CAD.

R&D or project management related knowledge is preferred.
