Responsibilities
to participate in Global projects, conduct the most complex of total rewards analyses and provide valuable inputs, such as merit budget, merit matrix, salary survey, salary planning etc.
· Support the annual insurance renewal process for Asia countries, work with the broker to study and understand the market to ensure the insured benefit offered is at the market. Lead the implement processes, including but not limited to: coordinate the contract signing, facilitate employee communications.
· Contribute in the annual incentive design processes and lead the year-end bonus and sales incentive implementation processes, including but not limited to: validate and reconcile the sales incentive result from sales team with finance, draft plan documents, facilitate employee communications
· Be the representative of APAC to participate in global grading review meeting, and conduct job evaluation and grading responding to the evolution of the business and the organization changes regionally
· Provide in depth analytical services on topics like internal and external equity cost of labor, pay trends, recommendations on salary packages, salary increase guideline, etc.
· Provide on-going consultancy to HR team and Managers on compensation decisions to ensure alignment with policy and business objectives
· Manage and direct external vendor and appropriately influence vendor processes and operations to achieve the best outcomes.
· Provide ad-hoc support (or lead) global/regional projects that may arise from time-to-time.
· Other ad-hoc tasks assigned
Requirements
Knowledge and skills:
· Knowledge of Human Resources principles, such as performance evaluation, payroll, and benefits
· Good technical skills and understanding of the legal, labor and economic environment of the assigned region
· Ability to take responsibility for projects with certain complexity in APAC region
· Ability working toward deadlines, multi-tasking and operating in an environment with shifting priorities
· Ability to partner with compensation team members, Human Resources and managers, even when they are located in other parts of the world
· Ability to explain facts/practices or use influence to convince stakeholders
· Ability to address issues/problems with recommended solutions for improvement
· Be familiar with organizational practices in other functions where collaboration needed
· Demonstrated project management skills & discipline
· Strong sense of personal accountability with the capacity to handle confidential information with discretion
· Strong teamwork spirit and positive working attitude
· Advanced Excel skills and proficient experience with other Microsoft Office tools
· Understand data relationships in HR systems & data bases
Education
· Bachelor degree or above, major in Human Resources or related is preferred
Working Experience:
· Min 6 years of experience with all facets of broad-based compensation across one region as well as significant exposure in another region
Language
· Fluent in both English and Mandarin
