Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This position will responsible for pre-survey and act as leader Auditor in survey of new suppliers, Reviewing capability data from supplier to assist in troubleshooting non-capable dimensions. Must be able to summarize and present to management, recommendations for resolving problem and concerns either with product or system. Support well for new program developing on supply chain base and cost down events for VA/VE.

      

Key duties include:

• Conduct on site plant audits (QMS,EMS,OHS) & potential suppliers of supply base for assessment of supplier’s quality systems, prepare report on assessments.
• Assess on site supplier problems and issues, organize and help resolve, using personal and operations/engineering resources. Identify and facilitate the training improvement plans for suppliers on an individual basis or through conference. (5why, 8D,etc)
• Perform parts audit, PPAP approve for all components released to suppliers, identify areas of weakness then handle the case with supplier closely with timely manner.
• Act in a professional, integral and courteous manner, and appearance in all dealing with supply base, customer and internal team. Including but not limit to, new program developing, suppliers performance management, cost down events for VA/VE.
• Possible contact with OEM customers in goodwill problem solving.
• Other tasks or duties as assigned.    

    

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or related disciplines， know basic mechanical knowledge
• Minimum 2 years experience of mechanical design in the automotive industry, supervisor experience is optional

• Knowledge of sound design and geometric tolerance is essential
• Familiar with machining, cold heading, die casting or stamping or injection mold process’s or relative process which are used within the automotive industry
• Fluent English communication skills in both oral and written
• Frequent business trip is required（Around 50%）, especially in the project development stage, mainly responsible for Gates global personal mobility business, but not limited to other gates product categories.
• Good driving and coaching ability for suppliers is must.
• APQP, PPAP,MSA, SPC,FMEA & TS16949 knowledge is required.
