About the role

As Credit Analyst at Future Electronics, you will play a critical role to aggressively pursue and collect all outstanding receivables of the company. You will be responsible to ensure the integrity of the Accounts Receivable base and convert the receivables to cash according to corporate payment terms.

What you’ll do (responsibilities)

• Responsible for the day-to-day credit operation.
• Review of customer accounts and provide written credit risk evaluation and assessment, making recommendation to management.
• Monitor credit policy and limits compliance to ensure that credit limits are sufficient to support sales growth and appropriate based on customer’s credit rating.
• Schedule and visit customers to understand their business and financial conditions.
• Review accounts receivable ageing report, and accordingly, plan and execute collection efforts to meet monthly collection target.
• Resolve and settle any customer disputes on a timely basis.
• Perform ad hoc analysis.

What you’ll need (qualifications)

• Accounting or Business related Degree.
• At least 3 or more years of credit control and collection experience.
• Possess a working knowledge of Letter of Credit is an advantage.
• Strong oral and written communications skills.
• Flair for figures.
• Proficiency in Computer skills.
• Analytical and have eyes for details.
• Strong interpersonal skill with a high level of initiative and drive.
• Ability to articulate issues/ideas and work well with all level across the organization.
• Ability to manage, resolve conflicts and create a cordial relationship with salespersons.
• Has a sense of interest to source for market intelligence that affects the integrity of the receivables.
• With his/her experience, ability to provide guidance to the junior credit staff.
• Have a positive attitude to share and work with fellow analysts as a team.
