Job Summary

Applies developing business process and product configuration management skills within the area of business or technical specialty. Manages small portions of well-defined continuous improvement projects as they relate to product configuration/release. Provides administrative and logistics support for product release team and global Configuration Management manager.

Key Responsibilities

？  Coordinate internal stakeholders to creating handoff/BOM/Routing in GIEA system, include self-make part and purchase finish part. Assists with analytical support; provides input into the design and development of product release.

？  Facilitate manufacturing change meeting, tracking change status timely. Identifies, tracks, and works with others to resolve product release issues.

？  Internal document management, all engineering released document like PFC/PFMEA/SW/MQV etc.

？  Serves as a resource for product release team and assigned work; employs basic knowledge of effective product release management and general business understanding.

？  Documents and shares team learnings with other teams; draws on other experiences to enhance the success of the project.

？  Maintains project notes, databases, and other records; monitors measures and communicates with Global Configuration Management Manager on status of specific product releases and assignments.

Qualifications and Competencies

Education:

？  Minimum college degree major in mechanical engineering or equivalent.

Experience:

？  Minimum one years of relevant experience from higher education and/or employment in related field.

Skill:

？  Product Configuration Management - A person is aware of and can use/apply the skills of Product Configuration.

？  Effective Meetings - Understands the basics of effective meetings including setting an agenda, taking care of physical logistics (such as teleconferencing), facilitating discussion, encouraging participation, identifying and tracking action items, and capturing meeting minutes.

？  Develops Systems and Processes - Some knowledge or awareness of how to develop systems and processes. Limited application of systems and processes to improve and complete work. Documents simple work processes and procedures.

？  Analyze Issues - Some knowledge or awareness of how to analyze issues. Demonstrates basic analysis of issues and some application of logic and problem solving skills. Identifies the connection between different issues and problems.

？  Schedule Management - Identification and tracking work tasks, dependencies, and timing for a project.

？  Communication – good English communication capability Written And Verbal - Is able to effectively and clearly communicate in both written and verbal means.

？  Drawing check – read and understand product drawing as required.

？  Expertise in Office.
