Specific Responsibilities
- The position is responsible for daily operations of Microbiological Laboratory, and keeping lab staff training, equipment maintenance and SOP updated.
- Supervise microbiology to carry out Microbiological Test for raw chemicals, manufacturing intermediate, finished products, water system, medical devices and environment system.
- Ensure all required tests are carried out in time. If any OOL happens, a professional investigation report shall be submitted according to Baxter designated procedure promptly.
- Arrange shifts for analysts according to production requirement. Optimize testing process to increase labor efficiency.
- Establish systems to maintain testing instruments/equipment, reference standards and reagents.
- Establish reasonable inventory and plan in order to control cost effectively.
- Keep the toxic reagents under strict control to meet regulatory requirements.
- Review and sign test report.
- Provide technical analysis to any reverse reaction case for customer complaint.
- Keep frequency communication with subordinates to improve team performance.
- Investigate incident and near miss report. Take corrective action and preventive action to eliminate potential risks.
- Observe and monitor behavior, provide feedback for at risk behavior and reinforce safe behaviors in order to prevent accidents.
- Obtain appropriate EHS training and report incidents of noncompliance with EHS laws and requirements or failure to carry out EHS responsibilities, which endanger the environment or people.
- Understand and implement Baxter, division and regulatory EHS requirements as applicable to this position.
- Other tasks authorized by Quality Manager.

Requirements
- At least a bachelor degree in Microbiological or pharmaceutical .
- More than 4 years experience in relevant laboratory.
- Good skills on English and computer.
- Good skills on lab testing instrument.
- Good leadership and human relationship skills.
