Establish and build competence in key technologies/processes/beverage systems industrialization according to project briefs and stage gates in I2L by applying functional knowledge, skills and experience to support product innovation and renovation teams from development to deployment. Support teams in break-through beverage systems and ensuring food safety, regulatory compliance, (NCA 60/40+), on time launch and within cost limits. Build his/her expertise and apply his/her knowledge in the field to provide relevant scientific/technical guidance in response to business, customers and consumer needs. Ensure the Industrialization of new dispenser developed at STC and produced at Manufacturing locations, while ensuring competitiveness of Nestlé beverage dispenser on the market. Interact proactively with the other functions, especially the machine development and quality competence in NSTC Orbe and Market operations to ensure the overall project objectives.

Innovation / renovation pipe-line:

- Build and submit to PM the Project Industrialization plan, aligned with all the parties

- Responsible to bring Process related inputs during the Design for manufacturing workshops

- Challenge tooling offer (schedule, cost, solution) and Assembly line set-up, challenge Manufacturer on industrial set-up

- Ensure and take personal responsibility for quality by design and system safety by applying best practices across the value chain (internally and at external partners)

Project management: 

- Accountability for all industrialization Processes at Manufacturer

- Accountable for the planning and execution of industrialization

- Ensure the machine deliverables and the quality of their content, according to Nestlé standards.

- Functional reporting to the PM to align on issue and mitigation plan, Machine Design improvements and implement Process corrective improvements at Manufacturer

- Manage knowledge building and project activities with initiative and is familiar with selection and prioritization tools and can apply them to his own project

- Ensure all stage gates are closed timely and within project costs, performs risk assessment analysis and early equipment warning

Technical assistance: 

- Provide technical assistance during the ramp-up of factories of OEMs, organization and co-ordination of live cycle test , root cause analysis, proposal and implementation of corrective actions with 3rd parties

- Give support to customers, assistance in industrialization start-ups, follow-up system launches, including technical and system improvements

- Ensure transfer of knowledge and Project to Nestlé Operational team

- Provide accurate and on-time support to operations on industrialization of specific component

People and know-how: 

- Build lessons learnt and Design rules on Process solution, to continously improved Machine industrialization 

- Start guiding/coaching younger project team members

- Identify and network with industry to bring process opportunities, advise manufacturer on continuous improvement

- Manage relationship with external manufacturers providers

'- Engineering education (MSc or PHD in mechanics, microtechnics, electronics or others engineering degree)

- 10+ years of R&D work experience in product development and industrialization preferably in mass produced consumer goods/ household appliances

- PM experience in competitive and complex environment

- Manufacturing process and lean manufacturing principle

- Proven communication skills (confidence and conviction in presenting to steering committees)

- Has significant exposure in different project and engineering activities of the organization (variety of assignments and missions)
