ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Handle daily enquiries: Interfaces regularly with Sales, CSV as well as carriers to discuss rates and improve how booking operations are managed
• Relation management Maintain & attend regular meetings with Carriers. 
• Contract negotiation Commercial end-to-end responsibility for negotiating and agreeing the best possible pricing and terms with the carriers confirmed by contracts
• Product Development  Supports the transportation negotiation function by producing cost and route analyses and route alternatives.
• Participates in projects as needed Respond and support for RFQ's, RFP's and RFI's as needed and in a timely manner.

REQUIREMENTS:

5 years of freight forwarder, shipping lines or NVOCC experiences.   

Strong knowledge of tariffs, rates, accessorial pricing, class and commodities 

Strong communication & interpersonal skills

Well-organized and self-directed individual team player 

Ability to be resourceful, creative and maintain flexibility, manage resources effectively and efficiently
