Main responsibilities

?    lead on the corporate storytelling to strengthen the Gilead brand among the key internal & external stakeholders in China including but not limited to media, patient/community organizations, internal employees etc.
?    lead on the planning and implementation of annual communications programs in the area of viral hepatitis (HBV + HCV) to continue raising the disease awareness among general public and patient populations
?    be responsible for the approval/launch communications of new product/indication when appropriate to contribute to the success of local business strategy and development
?    strengthen media communications to protect the reputation of Gilead and its products; manage issue communications when needed
?    partner with global and local cross-functional colleagues to ensure the alignment and consistency of the communications efforts
?    provide input to the content planning and distribution for corporate social media accounts
?    manage agencies & project budget for effective and efficient work delivery

Requirements

?    15+ years’ solid experiences on communications and public relations
?    Experiences on campaign planning and management
?    Experiences on patient/community organization engagement
?    Strong content development skills in Chinese & English
?    Fluent English writing and speaking
?    Proactive, responsible, “can do” mindset and be able to work independently with minimum supervision
?    Positive, pleasant, good interpersonal skills
